The Triads Coming out of the woodwork

You may have thought the Triads were gone and dead living off of the bottom in LA. However, it seems that they are making some headway into what is predominantly controlled by the Mafia. Folks if you pay attention to these kinds of things I say you should prepare for a major war between the factions of the Underworld because the Triads are going to be looking for some vengeance.

Unbelievable it seems my connections in the Triads are laughing over this whole terrorist bull crap. I actually got a detailed description along with a number o photos from these guys that were down from Seattle. It seems like the initial shootout was a simple payday for some of the low end guys who were looking to make a quick extortion buck. They asked for 500 nuyen to get through their turf and right before the payment was actually made the team who was going in after the train got into an argument and started killing each other. To top it all off it seems that the guys were even carrying 50,000 in certified cred sticks along with all of their gear. (which I might add seemed very high quality for a bunch of guys who would just turn on each other in the middle of the job.) Anyway, back to the the terrorists. It seems they are actually a corporate backed block of some variety and the new terrorist cover story was coming in because they needed a quick way to eliminate any loose ends and what better way to do it than get the po-po to handle it for you.

You know I have looked up and down the Matrix and I really can not even find out what Triads are operating in LA. IF we could work something out here it might actually save someones head one day.

Leader: Lung
Lung is said to have a slightly reptilian appearance when he chooses to show his face. Most of the time he hides behind an ancient Chinese demon mask. Some people claim that he is a Drake, but since he has become the leader of the most progressive Triad it is unlikely that he would be the servant of any ancient dragon.

This Triads is the newest of the Triads in LA but has garnered a fair bit of power because of their progressive views on technology the leadership of Lung and their aggressive strategy.

I have done some research into the 88's recently and I have found some connections between them and the Transhuman League. I am not sure as to the full extent of co-operation between these two but for all intensive purpose I have been led to believe they have a tendency to recruit new members from each others organizations.
